Looking for an apt cleaner specifically for 2 Airbnb apartment/townhouse in NW DC!! *Pls send resume and have at least 1-2 cleaning references. Pls confirm you’ve read this entire ad including responsibilities and pay.* Ideal cleaner is one cleaner looking to make extra cash and seeking a side job, not companies who already run cleaning companies. Ideal person is someone who already works in the cleaning industry who could use additional cash. Typical cleaning schedule is needed 3-4 times per week, sometimes just one of the units, sometimes both units on same day (depending on check-in and check-out dates). Must have a FLEXIBLE schedule to clean a short term rental unit after each check-out (10am) and prior to the new check-in (3pm) for same day guests. If next guest doesn’t come in until next day, then you can clean later in the day or early evening, if necessary. MUST have cleaning experience! You do not have to have to be Airbnb/hotel experience, as we will show you what to clean, however, it is MUCH EASIER AND FASTER to clean an Airbnb unit than a regular occupied apt/house cleaning. Looking for someone dedicated to this part time opportunity. Only looking for one cleaner at this time and paying by the hour for one cleaner, as it should only take one cleaner to do this work. Responsibilities include but not limited to: ON EACH APARTMENT CLEANING: -Communicate call/text property manager ETA to the apartments and text (text photos/videos) when cleaning is complete to property manager. -Responsibly operate a lockbox and place/secure keys back in lockbox when done. -Wipe down ALL tables including dining tables, bedroom end tables, living room tables/end tables, study desks, window sills etc -Wipe down the microwave (outside and inside), refrigerator shelves and fridge door handle, stove, dishwasher etc. -Change linen and make the beds -Make sure all the dishes/utensils in dish drying rack are clean before putting back in cabinets. Guests are required to wash dishes before check out, so usually dishes are washed already, however, pls make sure the dishes, cups and utensils (everything the guests used) are washed/cleaned properly BEFORE putting back in cabinet/drawer. -Sweep and mop/wipe floors (use broom to dust off baseboards to remove dust) including corners. -Clean bathrooms, toilets, bathtubs, and showers. Bathroom needs to be spotless and squeaky clean. -Take out the trash and put new trash bags -Wipe countertops, tables, door handles, and light switches -Check for damages and report low inventory (on coffee, creamers, sugar, salt and pepper, shampoo, conditioner etc) -Keep tabs on toiletries and supplies when needed -Tidy up/Others -You probably won’t need to do laundry each time you clean, as we have specific laundry days depending on loads. TYPICAL AND EXPECTED CLEANING TIME: -ONE hour for basement Apt. If is a 1-bedroom (small 550sf) English basement. -TWO hours minimum for Upper unit as it is 2 levels (900 sf total). ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITY: MUST have experience and/or be ABLE to: -Be flexible on short notice (next day cleaning needed) however for the most part, you’ll know the schedule at least 3-5 days or a week prior as usually people schedule their stays advance. -Take written instructions on the cleaning schedule with reliable and timely response to confirm cleaning. Must be organized, reliable and professional!! Cleaning supplies are provided-we supply all cleaning supplies or the following: -paper towel for cleaning -brushes for tub and shower cleaning -regular Broom and swiffer broom -vacuum -Fabuloso/Lysol cleaners -air fresheners The ideal cleaner is someone who has cleaned hotels or Airbnb's before, but if not it’s ok as long as you have CLEANING experience. IMPORTANT you have availability/flexibility: - flexible schedules (Weekdays, Friday, Saturday and Sundays). Typical guest check outs are on Sundays and Mondays. Typical check ins are Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays. - Must start cleaning the same day as guest check out about10:30am-11am -Guest Schedule is pretty booked up so you’ll know the schedule days before. There might be some last minute check-ins however, for the most part, you’ll know the schedule days ahead. Please use a calendar for the scheduled cleanings and we may also send reminders. You’ll need to confirm timely. OTHER INFO: Guests check in 3pm and check out 10am so you’ll have to clean between this time frame and be completed down cleaning by 2pm at the latest. IF the next guest checks in the next day, you can clean later in the day if needed. MUST HAVE: 1. Mobile phone to take photos/videos of the Apts 2. Respond and confirm to calls or text messages TIMELY (within 2 hrs is reasonable and timely) 3. Able to get around to NW DC (Adams Morgan area) either by car, bus, train or share rides 4. Communication is key in this business!! 5. Experience in the hotel/motel/Airbnb industry IS A PLUS but not required ONLY reliable and serious candidates only! Contact if interested! Next cleaning needed is Monday Oct 3rd. We will walk you through the apartments and you can do a trial clean. If all looks good, then you will get the next cleaning assignments.
