Astor Flowers {www.astorgift.com} is looking for an assistant, driver, runner, and jack of all trades to help us scale in 2022 and 2023. About the role: (7 or) 8AM - pick up daily flowers for orders at wholesaler in West Loop. You will be given exact recipes and will have someone on premises who can help as well. We will also train you. 8-10 AM - Prepare flowers for arrangements! This includes de-leaf-ing, cleaning, preparing vases, cards, bags, etc. 11-1 - Deliver orders for the day (Chicagoland-area only) This is a role for someone who doesn't mind a bunch of different kinds of tasks, driving, and wanting to learn the trade of the business, and to grow with us. Cash payment. Earlier you want to start, earlier you can end. You would use your car (hence the $5/delivery for gas, etc.). Role: - 6 hours a day, running from 7 or 8AM to noon or 1PM (as preferred and as business needs) - Pay is $15/h and $5 additional for every delivery
