Lead Carpenter Elizabethtown, PA • Lead a crew of 1-4 technicians with varying levels of experience • Join a company that cares about the personal and professional growth of their team • Tackle projects such as window & door repair, loose or missing soffit or trim, siding repair, wind damage, etc. • Start at the shop and review your work orders for the day. • Load the truck with the needed supplies • Call customers to let them know you are on the way • Assess the damage and determine the best strategy for repair or replacement • Communicate with the homeowner about their options • Complete the repair or replacement (may mean returning another day if supplies are needed) • Report on all materials used • Work within a team Century Home Improvements has been serving Central Pennsylvania for more than 40 years. We are hiring a Lead Carpenter who will work within a team to complete installations and provide the excellent service we're known for. If you are a skilled carpenter with experience in exterior home remodeling projects such as roofing, gutters, awnings, doors, and siding, consider joining our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in carpentry, construction, exterior remodeling, etc. Our Ideal Lead Carpenter: • Experience: Must have 5-7 years of experience with carpentry and exterior remodeling. Relevant positions may include carpentry, roofing, siding, gutters, handyperson services, construction, exterior remodeling, etc. • Detail-Oriented: Ensure you have all the tools and supplies you need to complete a job thoroughly, correctly, and with quality work. • Team Player: Humble and hardworking. Cares about teammates & customers and is passionate about working together to provide quality service to the customer. • Active: Working in a physically demanding role, bending, kneeling, using tools, climbing scaffolding, comfortable with heights, and lifting up to 75 lbs. • Tools required: Basic hand and cordless tools. • Driver's License: You will be driving a company truck, so a driver's license & reasonably clean driving record is required.
