Sadly we must re-home our 7 month old rough collie, Bear. Bear has been a wonderful addition to our family and this has nothing to do with him. My husband and I both work unpredictable hours and a majority of his care falls on our teenager. Bear just doesn’t get the attention he needs in our current situation. Bear is a typical collie, he needs physical and mental stimulation regularly. At 7 months he is still a puppy and needs some patience with his puppy ways such as jumping to say hello. Bear is vocal like most collies and will bark or talk at you to request more attention. Bear is convinced he’s a lap dog and prefers sitting in your lap over anywhere else. We have two toddlers, teenagers and an older dog all of whom Bear gets along great with. We haven’t ever experienced biting it even nipping. Bears had all his shots to date and is house trained and crate trained. This was a hard decision for our family to come to and we want to ensure he goes to a good home and there is a rehoming fee.
