Description
Qualifications:
Direct care staff must be over 18 years of age
Be able to complete required reports and follow written and oral instructions that are related to the care and supervision of residents.
Be suitable to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of each resident.
Be capable of appropriately handling emergency situations.
This licensee shall provide in-service training or make training available through other sources to direct care staff. Direct care staff shall be competent before preforming assigned tasks, which shall include being competent in all of the following areas: Reporting requirements.
First aid.
CPR
Personal care, supervision, and protection.
Resident Rights.
Duties:Supervise and protect residents.
Administer and chart medications as prescribed by physician
Supervise and assist resident’s with rehabilitative treatment in accordance with their assessment plan
Supervise and assist residents with leisure and recreational activities.
Supervise, document and report all required resident behavioral and medical conditions
Supervise and assist residents with emergency preparedness and conduct drill and document results
Prepare and serve meals in accordance with daily menu while maintaining food safety protocols and keeping a clean & sanitized kitchen.
All general housekeeping including laundry, bathrooms, and seasonal cleaning.
Assist with walking and light exercise
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily needs
Provide medication reminders
Accompany to services, events, or outings
Maintain calendar and organize mail
Engage in activities (games, memory books)
Companionship
Record daily care notes, as needed.
Report any significant client changes to the Licensee or designated person in charge.
Job Type: Full-time & Part-time available
Salary: $15 to $22.00 /hour depending on experience and reliability
