Saint Michael's College is seeking applications from dependable and efficient workers to fill a full-time grounds member position. This position will have a set schedule on Saturdays and Sundays, from 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, and three (3) other weekdays of their choosing, from 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Successful candidates will join a team that maintains campus grounds throughout the year. Overtime is expected and required throughout the year during large campus events and especially in the winter months for forecasted snowstorms. Requirements: Applicants should have the following: -High school diploma or equivalent -1-3 years of experience in a similar position or related work experience -Knowledge of grounds keeping equipment and methods required -Knowledge of heavy-duty grounds equipment desired -Can meet the physical demands expected to successfully perform the essential functions and occasional lifting and moving of heavy objects such as landscaping materials, equipment, and furniture required -Valid driver's license and must be able to successfully pass driving record check.
