I am replacing my 1966 Mustang floorboards, and when that is done, the upper and lower cowl will be replaced with full new sheetmetal. Those are the immediate goals, with the Quarter Panels and related metal replaced at sometime in the future, maybe this winter. It's a lot of man-hours and I am an amateur welder, just started last winter. I have nice Lincoln ProMIG 175 (240V) with gas (75 argon 25 CO2). It has worked well for the left half which is now done.
