Maintenance Worker Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks for our mobile grooming equipment, warehouse and office. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our equipment facilities are both tidy and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work. Maintenance Worker Duties and Responsibilities • Keep mobile grooming equipment repaired and cleaned • Maintain grounds, including trimming, edging, mowing lawn, collecting trash, etc. • Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc. • Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, a/c filters etc. • Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems • Maintaining Inventory of Supplies and Repair Parts • Report to the owner regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress Maintenance Worker Requirements and Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position • Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems • Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools • Basic knowledge of automotive engine care, small engine care, carpentry and painting • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • General passion for creative problem-solving Schedule and Pay • The schedule is Monday to Friday(maybe an occasional Saturday if there is something that just has to get done). • There is a Full-Time or Part-Time option. FT hours will be in the range of 11 am to 8 pm. PT hours would be in the range of 2 pm to 8 pm(this allows for the groomers to return and the equipment to be taken care of). • There are 5 planned off-times throughout the year and an occasional extra day here and there as the grooming schedule allows. • The pay starts at $13/hr. for 30-days and then you will be given a $1 raise to $14/hr. At a 90-day review another raise will be a part of the review.
