MANUFACTURING ASSISTANT [Contract work] Bonbuz is currently seeking an assistant to the Beverage Production manager (Compounder and Filler) for contract opportunities in our warehouse in the Downtown Los Angeles, CA area. SUMMARY: Contractor will help to mix batches which meet quality and consistency standards in a cost effective, safe and timely manner. Follow all safety policies, HACCP and GMP practices. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Manufacturing Manager with; Compounding formulas accurately by weight and ingredients as well as ensuring that the best methodology is utilized based upon the particular product. Document the step by step process checklist using their computer in batch record software. Follow all quality assurance instructions on formulas using proper compounding techniques to ensure quality samples. Properly label all batches submitted to the lab for evaluation. Follow all Good Manufacturing procedures to maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 200 pounds and pull up to 100 pounds. Must be able to see and distinguish between labels. Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk through the warehouse. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Possess experience within the Food and Beverages or a closely related industry. Must speak, read and write in English. Must have basic math skills. Must be proficient in compounding techniques and raw materials. Must be proficient in the use of scales and other compounding equipment. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Factory environment with exposure to flavor, and food grade Aroma chemicals and raw materials.
