We’ve bred this rare and little known all-white Akbash combined with the all-white Great Pyrenees. These highly intelligent, calm canines make excellent family companions, livestock guardians, and property protectors. The Akbash is a highly intelligent, family loyal and large watchdog/guardian from Turkey. They don’t have the explosive energy, rather they’re gentle, affectionate, quiet and steady yet strong, fast, confident and courageous to the point of risking their own lives to protect their charges. Intruders, including other canines will be sorry to meet up with him. They’ve been used by American ranchers to ward off bears, coyotes, deer, wolves, raccoons, mountain lions and possums with an incredible sense of seeing & hearing so sensitive he can detect intruders even with the windows closed in a house with tv and music blaring. Because of their intelligence, they’re also used as service or assistance dogs and displayed in professional shows. The Great Pyreneese, once regarded as the Royal dog of France under King Louis XIV, is also a stunning all-white k-9 who also has a very docile, friendly demeanor yet manages to be a dedicated, reliable guardian possessing an extraordinary sense of sight and sound as well. They were used to pull sleds, packs and guard livestock in addition to the most common use as traditional family companions who won’t hesitate to risk their lives in order to protect their family or their territory. They love children, they can be taken to nursing homes and are also used in therapy and rescue work. These pups possess some of the best qualities you could ask for. We’ve raised them around 5 children and a farm full of a wide range of animals.
