Strategic Materials in Seattle is the only glass recycling facility in Washington state.We process over 150,000 TONS of material every year. SMI- Seattle currently has several open positions for both day shift and night shift! Day shift is currently hiring two production workers, forklift operator and a loader operator. Night shift is currently hiring production workers. No experience necessary for production worker position. Forklift- experience recommended but not required Loader operator- experience and valid drivers license required Shift schedule is unique and allows for overtime, 2nd jobs, and is great for commuters. The facility operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Shifts are 12 hours long (Day shift- 6am-6pm; Night Shift 6pm-6am). Shift schedule is broken into week 1 and week 2 type schedule. Week 1- Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday. Week 2- Monday, Thursday, Friday Then Repeat. We do not have any caps on Overtime, however, on a volunteer basis. Allowed, but not required. Full time employment with benefits offered (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc). OT pays time and a half.
