Bass player looking for post rock/ shoegaze project

I've been a long time post rock and shoegaze fan and looking to do something in that general area, something that can go from peaceful to chaotic. Making original music and playing shows is my goal. Think Mogwai, GYBE, MBV, God is an Astronaut... I am older, late 40's, been playing guitar and bass for a couple of decades. I am currently playing bass in a new punk band but I do want to explore a second project. I'm very eager to write and perform with others.
