Hello, my 4yea old son just started full day pre-K in our district. He gets on his van for 815am and off for about 345/4pm. It’s in a local elementary school and j basically view it as a extra year do kindergarten. With that said the past 4 years I nannied for many families, one family of four kids 2 of whom were on the spectrum. My own son is on the spectrum himself so I have lots of experience with special needs. My bachelors degree is in psychology and English and I’m just looking into master degrees in special education, ABA,or clinical psychology. I’ve spent my years since college being the head teacher preschool and toddler programs. I do hold my CT head teacher certification for preschool. I also worked as a math and reading tutor in a local elementary school. And I grew from being a science teacher and enrichment teacher for the boys & girls club to their program director and summer camp director. They when I had my son I took a step back a bit with my career. But now I am looking forward to jumping back into tho e workforce.
