Description
Holy Pinto: Holy Pinto is a pop group led by songwriter, Aymen Sale. It originally began as two kids in their hometown of Canterbury, England, and is now one adult based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their new singe “us, married,” is set for release on 9/21. “Dispensed with abundant charm and grace, his songs feel warm and live-in,” -Stephen Thompson, NPR. Have a Good Season: Have a Good Season is a power trio from Eatontown, NJ. Consisting of vocalist/guitarist Nic Palero, bassist Daniel Stattner, and drummer Dan Sakumoto, HAGS has crafted a signature sound that refuses to fit neatly inside any genre’s box. Drawing influences from the likes of Dinosaur Jr. and American Football, their music channels the nostalgic indie rock sound of the 80s and 90s, coupled with ard hitting lyricism and emotive delivery that sets them apart from your typical emo band. Playing together since 2012, the trio has honed in on their craft and toured the northeast and midwest regions, playing in DIY spaces and opening for acts including Jeff Rosenstock, Slaughter Beach Dog, Cymbals Eat Guitars, and more. With their new full length LP “Shapes I’ve Never Seen,” HAGS is ready for their songs to find their way into your head, your heart, and onto your playlist. Milk St: Northeast Emo From the Pine Tree State Originally under the name Spaced, Milk St. is a punk trio from Bangor, Maine who takes the melodic aspects of midwest emo, and the rawness of grunge to create what they call, Northeast Emo. In an attempt to capture the beautifully depressing aspects of their home state of Maine, Milk St. draws from bands such as Title Fight, Modern Baseball, Nirvana, and more to create something totally new. With the release of their live album they recorded with Mushroom Stomp Records, Spore Session No. 17, Milk St. has begun working on their first full length Studio Album. Milk St. Is: Jonah Wakefield / Guitar and Vocals Gabe Chambers / Bass Josh Whittemore / Drums
