Enjoy a hands-on art workshop using paper pulp! Families will learn a variety of fun techniques like pulp painting, creating handmade paper, and even creating your own paper relief sculpture.
The family-friendly class will be held at the Arts and Cultural Center and led by Shawna Moulton, a multidisciplinary artist, arts educator, and graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. This South Florida-based artist is best known for her life-size paper-casting figures and illustrations on handmade paper.
The class is open to children 6 and up, with an accompanying adult. The cost is $5 for residents, and $7 for non-residents. To register, click bit.ly/PulpPaperPlay or email [email protected].
