The Westchester County Youth Councils' (WCYC) 2022 Youth Action Training focuses on building peace and working towards justice. Teens will facilitate workshops on gun violence, mental health and academic stress, working across difference, sexism, climate chance, racism and bias, speaking to adult decision-makers and more. Special keynote speech by Sari Kaufman, Parkland survivor, lead organizer of March for Our Lives, and gun violence advocate. Opportunities to learn about and work on issues you care about with teens from across Westchester. Six volunteer hours. Brunch/lots of food. Free. All teens welcome- no experience necessary.
