South Dallas, it's time to celebrate! Dallas Free Press and the Dallas Weekly have partnered for more than two years to listen to and learn from our neighbors about the issues that matter most. This interactive, drop-in happy hour event looks at where we are and where we're headed, and features: cocktails by Kendra's Cocktailslight bites from Catering Done WiselyDJ King Shakurraffle prizes giveawaysphoto opsways for you to participate in community-powered journalism!When: Thursday, Oct. 20, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Where: Urban Arts Center, 807 Hutchins Road, 75203 This event is FREE for anyone who lives in the South Dallas neighborhood (generally zip codes 75215 & 75210), as our way of thanking you for your feedback and involvement in our community journalism. Simply include your address and contact info for a free ticket. If you don't stay in South Dallas, we'd still love for you to join us! We have a suggested donation of $25 for folks who want to celebrate with us.
