Designed for children 4-8 yrs old and parents, this workshop introduces your child to the violin, and the basic positions and movements involved in creating music. Using the classical, folk and popular string music, we will also cover the basic components of music: melody, harmony, and rhythm. Great for families considering violin lessons but not quite ready to commit. Families will help build a box violin that children can use during learning activities. Angeline Street, Seattle, WA 98118) When: 3 Saturdays beginning Nov 5 Time/Duration: Check-in begins at 10am. Activities begin at 10:10.
