Covid-19 has been a public health crisis like no other. Scientists and doctors struggled to keep up with rapidly changing developments around transmission, vaccinations, symptoms and treatment. Politicians and talk show hosts added their own conclusions to the mix, and the resulting confusion helped misinformation spread. Now, health professionals are taking a look at our collective response. What have experts learned about amplifying facts and tamping down rumors when it comes to health information – and what can we ALL do better to protect ourselves and our families when the next public health crisis comes along?
