The entrepreneur fair is project-based learning at its finest! Your student can plan, make, and sell items of their choice. It is open-ended! Food, crafts, products, services (for example, face-painting), carnival games (it costs to play), etc. The student uses real money because it’s the student’s own business, so they set the price and they make the money. Students may set up their booth starting at 9:30am. Please help your students secure their money. For example, they could wear a fanny pack or a parent could man the cashbox.If your student wants to leave their booth, what happens? We are not responsible for your vendor booth. If you want to leave and become an attendee, you need to make sure you organize someone to watch your booth.**Families who are participating in the Entrepreneur Fair need to purchase a ticket for this event as well as those who will be just coming to the Entrepreneur Fair to shop/look at the items for sale.We encourage you to turn in a sample that is linked to the field trip that you attended during your next learning period. It helps to ensure that we can continue to provide these trips and their educational value. Heartland field trips are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please indicate this when you register your student and let the field trip host know once you complete your registration. **To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE! ALL attendees need a ticket. Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? All ages are welcome. Check-in Procedures: Students may begin setting up their booths at 9:30am. Sales begin at 10am. Is there on-site parking available? Free parking at Tuckers Grove Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Yes. Please do not bring food that contains peanuts to any Heartland event.
