Early fall birding at the hook: we may encounter anything from shorebirds and terns to flycatchers, sparrows, and warblers. A wide variety of habitats ensure good bird diversity at one of the state’s best spots. Be prepared for 3-4 hours of walking over flat and sandy surfaces. Meet at Parking Lot B, about halfway down the lot by the bathrooms. Led by Scott Barnes, Linda Mack & other associate naturalists.
