SUP witches, ghosts, and ghouls?! Put on your best halloween costume, grab your paddle (or broom) and your friends, and head to Stoked for a ride down the basin and after-party featuring live music, food, tarot card reading, games, and more!Formerly known as the Witches Paddle, this year EVERYONE's invited to join us for The CB Monster Splash. We'll launch from the dock at Stoked and take a leisurely paddle through the basin and back. Then, stick around as we celebrate with an after-party at Stoked! The paddle begins at 11:00am with the party directly after.This year's Monster Splash benefits the NC Coastal Land Trust, a 5O1C3 non-profit that works to save the lands we love through conservation of natural areas and working landscapes, education, and the promotion of good land stewardship. 100% of proceeds from this event go to the NC Coastal Land Trust and their mission to enrich coastal communities like our own. Your $35 ticket includes admission to the paddle, a raffle ticket, entrance to the after party, and delicious snacks provided by Stoked! Little monsters paddle for FREE, but the after party is for ages 21 and up. Stoked will have a cash bar set up featuring ghoulish cocktail creations!Paddlers should bring their board or kayak, a paddle, and a life jacket. We'll have a designated area to load-in from the Stoked parking lot. No SUP? No problem. AquaGenesis and Ocean Cure have generously agreed to loan out boards for an additional donation. Just choose the Paddle Board Rental add-on at checkout.Just wanna watch? Also, fine. Choose the spectator ticket at checkout. This ticket includes a raffle ticket and admission to the after-party with snacks! You can watch the paddlers and stay dry from the deck at Stoked!All paddlers must wear a life jacket. We'll have loaners available at the dock. Life jackets are required by NC Law.**This is a rain or shine event. If it's not safe to paddle, we'll just start the party early!**
