It’s the most wonderful time of the year…the time when we host our favorite annual party, Silent Night Day! This special event celebrates the annual release of our fan favorite, Silent Night Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout. This year's release was brewed with a special Counter Culture Coffee "Iridescent" blend, and we’re excited to deepen this beer’s connection between Mother Earth Brewing and Mother Earth Spirits with two incredible special releases: one aged in Mother Earth Single Malt Whiskey barrels and one aged in Mother Earth Carolina Rye barrels! We’re also continuing our tradition of aging Silent Night in barrels previously used for some of the world’s most highly recognized bourbon with a batch aged meticulously in Blanton's bourbon barrels for a bold and robust, yet smooth and refined finish. Mother Earth Spirits continues to make a name for itself as one of the finest producers of gins and whiskeys in North Carolina and throughout the country. Mother Earth American Single Malt Whiskey, made with 100% two-row barley, offers a rich caramel sweetness up front and a faint hint of smoke to finish, while drinking much smoother than its 86-proof ABV would indicate. Mother Earth Carolina Rye is a beautiful collaboration with Epiphany Craft Malt from Durham, NC, who sourced 100% North Carolina grown grain for this rye whiskey that opens with robust hazelnuts up front, mild rye spiciness in the midsection and a rich dark chocolate finish that surprises and delights. We couldn’t be more excited to use the oak barrels that were used to mature these beautiful spirits to add amazing layers of nuance and flavor to Silent Night 2022. With a 2022 Silent Night Day VIP ticket, you'll skip the line outside with early access to the event and enjoy a special VIP-only event hosted by Master Brewer Matthew Hart and Head Distiller Scott Wicker, where you'll have the opportunity to taste unique offerings from Mother Earth Spirits and a special 2012 vintage of Silent Night available only to VIP ticket holders. Also included is a special vintage flight of Silent Night, allowing you to taste vintages from the new 2022 release all the way back to 2018. Included with your ticket is one bottle each of Silent Night aged in Mother Earth American Single Malt Whiskey barrels, as well as Silent Night aged in Mother Earth Carolina Rye barrels. You’ll also take home one bottle of each of these two whiskeys that were harvested from these barrels, giving you the unique opportunity to taste some of best locally-made whiskey you can find alongside these unique and rare editions of Silent Night.
