We believe that marriage is ordained by God and formalized by man into a legal covenant relationship. It's a continued journey together in holiness that has been ordained by God, thus no longer being two, but becoming one flesh as recorded in the gospel of (Mark 10:8 NKJV). While the two spouses are on this never-ending journey, they should do everything possible to "strengthen" their foundation, so it doesn't crumble; become weaken or shaken from the weight and outside forces of evil.
