Join us for a 4-day tournament at the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas! Compete in chess, pickleball and cornhole, with the King and Queen each taking home $10,000. There will also be champions named for each of the three events. Feel like you're pretty good at all three events, or maybe you have the skills to dominate an individual event? Come out and show us what you got while having fun in Las Vegas! FAQs Check-in starts at 6pm on Wednesday, March 29 at Plaza Hotel & Casino. Register to enter as a male (King) or female (Queen). Competitors must be 21 years of age on the day of the tournament to participate. Compete in each event on one single day (for example, chess on Thursday, pickleball on Friday, and cornhole on Saturday). The finals will take place on Sunday, April 2. Competitor pairings will be randomly assigned using event software. Each event is single elimination except the Sunday finals, which will also include a round-robin format. The chess tournament will be a single elimination Armageddon-style tournament with White having 10 minutes and Black having 8 minutes to finish each game. Black will have draw odds, meaning a draw will count as a win for Black. There will be three 512-person tournaments on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, respectively, with the champions of each day meeting on Sunday in an Armageddon-style round-robin with the same time controls. White and Black will be randomly assigned by event software. Timers and chess sets will be provided. The pickleball and cornhole tournaments will both be single elimination and consist of three 512-person tournaments on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, respectively, culminating in a Final Four each day. The remaining 12 competitors will play in the finals on Sunday. Single elimination continues until we reach the Top Three, where a round-robin format is applied. Pickleball will be held at the Plaza pickleball courts. Cornhole will be played across the Plaza property (indoor and shaded outdoor). Pickleballs will be supplied, as well as cornhole boards and bags. The overall King and Queen standings will be based on points assigned with every round won. It will be possible to win prize money in the overall event as well as individual events. More information will be shared on future dates. Format and rules are subject to change.
