Mercado Para Mi Gente– A Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration of Latin-American Entrepreneurship and Upcoming Development in North Las Vegas This event will be a unique social featuring the sounds, smells, and tastes of Hispanic Heritage and the legacy of entrepreneurship across the Latin Diaspora. This event will be rooted in a curated marketplace showcasing Hispanic culinary/beverage staples and local entrepreneurs. This event will also incorporate the release of a commemorative beer celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and the only Latin-owned brewery in Southern Nevada - North 5th Brewing Company; as well as a cider introducing Azukar to the market. This strategic partnership will highlight an intentional engagement with featured Urban/Latin Chamber members with services that can or currently have a connection to the goal of diversifying the local beer community and upcoming development in North Las Vegas. Mercado Para Mi Gente will also feature a brief joint presentation by the City of Las Vegas and the Latin Chamber of Commerce Nevada celebrating the rich heritage of the Hispanic community in Southern Nevada and an announcement of upcoming opportunities for entrepreneurial engagement within upcoming development in North Las Vegas. The brewhouse will feature a curated marketplace that will allow attendees to engage in commerce with featured members from both chambers and those who have found success in partnership with the City of North Las Vegas’ economic development programs.
