For the third year in a row, the Talented Tenth Grade Group will volunteer with Feeding Tampa Bay! Join Tal10s Kelvy Brown, Bailey Henson, Zahara Narain, and Curtis Ward, as we pack food and stock shelves at the Feeding Tampa Bay Distribution Center. Feeding Tampa Bay estimates that the number of “food insecure” people in its 10-county region rose from 600,000 to more than 1.3 million during the pandemic. Even in these post-pandemic times, with rising costs, many are still food insecure - in need of food. Let’s help prep and sort food for those in need. This year Tal10s will serve at the Feeding Tampa Bay Warehouse sorting food in preparation for distribution. Saturday (10/29) from 1:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. Location: Feeding Tampa Bay 4702 Transport Dr. Building 6 Tampa, FL 33605 Please wear closed in shoes and a Jack and Jill T-shirt. Please RSVP by Friday, October 21, 2022. A take home snack will be provided. This is an open activity.
