Atabey Outdoors is a fun outdoor adventure program where YOU (BIPOC girls and non-binary young people ages 8-12) try fun outdoor activities and talk about cool things! Why Birding? Birding connects you to nature and develops patience and curiosity! Bird watchers are used to sitting in one location for hours at a time to catch a glimpse of a particular bird that they’re interested in learning about. During that time bird watchers are able to soak up their surroundings – admiring the plant life, breathing in the crisp air, and watching other animals.
