2022 Autumn Promenade Brought to you by Valparaiso EventsJoin Valparaiso Events on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 12-4:30 PM for the first annual Autumn Promenade - an afternoon in downtown Valpo full of delicious fall and holiday themed treats. Ticket-holders will check in at the Valparaiso Events Tent, located on the courthouse lawn (16 E Lincolnway), to receive their Autumn Promenade map, bag, and punch-card lanyard. Check-in begins at 11 a.m. Then, follow the map to participating destinations in downtown Valpo and receive a fun fall or holiday themed treat at each stop from some of Valpo's top candy-makers, bakers, and ice cream shops. Plan to browse through stores for your holiday shopping needs and enjoy lunch or dinner before or after! All money raised from ticket sales helps fund Valparaiso Events' free, family-friendly events held throughout the year.  For information about all we do, visit us here. Autumn Promenade will happen rain or shine. No ticket refunds available. FAQsAre there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? There is no age limit for attendees. But every attendee, no matter the age, needs a ticket to participate in the event to receive treats. The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes. You can buy up to 6 tickets per transaction. They can all be under your name, but given to other attendees.  Is my registration/ticket transferable? Yes. How am I identified as an Autumn Promenade participant?  Upon check-in, you will be given a lanyard that signifies you are a participant and also serves as your punch-card so you can receive your treat at each location.  What do I need to bring for the Autumn Promenade?  You will be walking about 1-2 miles, so wear a comfortable pair of shoes. You will be outside most of the time, so correct clothing for the weather is important. If rain is in the forecast, bring a poncho or umbrella. Where do I start?  Attendees will start by checking in at the Valparaiso Events Tent, located on the courthouse lawn (16 E Lincolnway) to receive their Autumn Promenade map, bag, and punch-card lanyard. Check in begins at 11 AM. From there you can follow the map however you'd like! Where should I park? Downtown Valparaiso has many options for free parking on Saturdays, including city streets and lots. You can find a parking map on our website here: http://valparaisoevents.com/parking-map/. Also, the Porter County Administration Building has a free public parking garage located at Indiana and Napoleon. How does my ticket benefit the community?
