The Mid-Michigan Spartans have a busy fall planned. Located in MSU's backyard, we are uniquely positioned to leverage campus social, volunteer, community education and student engagement activities for our alumni family and friends to enjoy. Join us at our October board meeting as we plan future experiences. All input is welcome. The meeting will take place at Coral Gables. The board usually meets at a restaurant so those interested in remaining to socialize over a meal may do so. The meeting portion should be over by 6:30 p.m. Recent events and activities offered by the Mid-Michigan Spartans include: • Campus public art tour • MSU finals week volunteer roles (Night of 1000 Donuts at the MSU Library) • Hospice of Lansing landscaping service project • Welcome notes to admitted MSU students from the area • Move-In volunteer slots to assist students moving into dorms • Recovery Walk in support of MSU students in recovery from substance use disorder • MSU v Washington game watch at Newman Lofts • Operation Kindness - a week-long extension of kindness for Spartans Serve Week Future events and activities planned include: • Homecoming Parade volunteer crew • Breslin Center behind the scenes tour • The Fledge Science Fair volunteer crew
