OKTOBERFEST 2022 - ONE DATE ONLY October 22 LATE BREAKING NEWS: The German American Society of Central Florida has been informed by the City of Casselberry that as a consequence of Hurricane Ian and the increased demand for first responder services, all city police and fire personnel will remain on emergency call duty. As their presence is mandatory, WE ARE FORCED TO CANCEL OUR FEST ON OCTOBER 1, 2022. We are sorry for this inconvenience and hope to see all of you on October 22, 2022 for our 50 years of Oktoberfest celebration. For all you devotees of Oompa bands, German beer, Bavarian style food, lively crowds and Chicken dancing - do we have two fantastic Oktoberfest weekends for you! If you are looking for authenticity, this is the place to come. Join us in our Biergarten where you will find fabulous German food, plenty of beer from several of Germany's most famous breweries, schunkeling, toasting to Ein Prosit, and live musical entertainment by German bands all day long on both Saturdays. Our Oktoberfests will also feature special Schuhplattling performances and a traditional Flag Parade. All this adds up to the very best in Gemütlichkeit.... the warm feeling of comfort, cheer and camaraderie.
