Shih Tzu Shelby needs a home

Tonight I drove 3 hours to pick up what I was told and shown was a shih tzu puppy a tiny ball of fluffy fur. I was sent one photo that’s kinda blurry where they stated she’s “in need of a haircut “ I was not aware of the small open wound on her head which I later discovered was from all the gigantic fleas she was covered in ! Not to mention her entire lower half was no longer white it was brown from dirt and somewhat matted and extremely long. She could hardly see. She is extremely sweet, calm, likes other dogs idk bout cats, lays on your lap seems to be a chill happy pup under the circumstances tho. I would love to keep her but to be honest I just don’t have the means to get her groomed n everything else she needs done right now. I did give her a very good flea bath and a hartz flea treatment and killed a lot of the fleas but i really want to find her a good home asap so I don’t get attached to her n vice versa. They charged me a small rehoming fee I’d like to just get that back really. I’m glad she’s out of where she was being neglected.
