Solid guitar/vocals (early 50's) setting up 90's 00's rock w/some country cover band. Tenor vocals with a good range to handle more than most guys our age. Would help if you sing well, too. Song selection that is upbeat, fun and positive to keep people engaged. Free commercial space at ground level for rehearsals; weekly until it's up and running then occasionally as new material is added. You need to be comfortable moving at a brisk pace; playing shows is the priority, not hanging out every week in my shop. Desired qualities: -Generally available nights and weekends, easy and prompt to communicate -less is more approach to amps. modern technology no longer requires refrigerator-sized cabinets. -you live within 20-30 miles or so from Burnsville. -motivation to play regularly, 2-3 per month with openness to more if a good opportunity arises -aged 35+ but open if someone is enthusiastic -you like the song selection. some revisions can be made but it's 90's to current to appeal to audiences trending into clubs now. REQUIRED for consideration: -you've been in a band regularly in recent years. Need details about this or no reply -can learn and retain songs quickly and accurately; it's rock but some theory understanding is necessary. -stable life situation that allows you time to play each week (gigs and/or rehearsal); young kids, coaching sports, hectic work/travel schedule, lots of vacation/cabin trips aren't conducive to being in a working band. This is still for fun but a regular time commitment is needed. Will also provide you with some info about me to your response.
