A few years ago when I was 14 my bff and I were caught stealing some makeup from a local store. Nothing really happened to me but, she was punished by her mom and, in addition, wasn't allowed to hang with me any longer. The truth is, it was my idea and the makeup was found in my backpack. I think the manager got our names mixed up when she called our parents. I miss my friend and I feel guilty for not speaking up. It should have been me that was punished and not you. Britt, if you read this, I'm sorry and I miss the special friendship we had. I think about you everyday and the guilt is overwhelming.
