We have an immediate opening for a Landscape Laborer, our yard is located in Queen Creek, Arizona. We are looking for a person with a good work ethic that is willing to learn a fantastic trade and move up the ladder quickly into a managerial role. You would become the right hand person of the company's owner. The position will pay above average with the expectation of becoming management as the company begins to grow. No experience necessary but is preferred. Training will be provided. RESPONSIBILITIES - Following best practices - Follow direction as provided by management & direct supervisor - Time management - Reporting issues to supervisor regarding properties, equipment and/or crew members - Manage inventory of parts & tools while performing job duties - Perform other duties as required by business need or weather - Maintains safe working conditions on job site at all times - Real time problem solving JOB HAZARDS - Heavy lifting in excess of 50 lbs - Strenuous activity such as excessive bending and/or kneeling - Working in Arizona desert heat where temperatures reach into 120 degrees KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS - Technical knowledge on utilizing specialized equipment - Knowledge on best trimming practices for each individual plant - Ability to read and follow written directions - Ability to understand and follow verbal directions MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS - Fluent in English - Some Spanish *preferred* - Valid Arizona Drivers license with clean MVR - 1 year of experience in Landscape Maintenance *preferred* - Must have transportation to and from yard - Must be able to work and communicate with others BENEFITS - Paid Vacation - Paid Holiday - Signing Bonus after 120 days SCHEDULE - This position is Monday through Friday, start time and end time adjust with season - As early as 5:30 AM - Saturday overtime will be offered as optional, sometimes required as designated by management
