Senior needs help with just part of rent

Lower income widowed senior needs help with just part of rent. I have been approved for assistance but payment will not arrive till Oct 29th for Nov. I'm trying to avoid late charges and save credit this month. I have food just cannot pay all of rent Oct 1st. I will be ok after Nov 1st. Please help me if you can.
