Frontman/Guitarist/Vocalist/Songwriter, for longtime running local Alternative Punk Rock Band seeking a Solid Hard Hitting Drummer with alot of energy, and a Bassist with tasteful playing who can properly serve the music. I'm in my 40's, seeking the same (40s-50s) I'm always writing, playing and have a friend who helps with recording. influences are: 80's-90s Alternative Underground Rock,((Husker Du, The Wipers, REM, Smithereens, Vaselines, Butthole Surfers,))(including the Grunge Movement), 70's-80's Punk Rock,(Anti Nowhere League, Buzzcocks, Exploited, Ramones, Sex Pistols) New Wave,(Gang Of Four, The Birthday Party, Talking Heads, Television) and 80's-90s Gothic (Bauhaus, The Cure, Nick Cave, Peter Murphy etc) Music is available here: www.gantobarn.bandcamp.com The Goal is to be a solid band that can write, rehearse, record and occasionally play a show here and there(shows that matter most, Weekend shows only) No Delusions of Grandeur (we should all be way past trying to make it) No Substance Abuse, No Egos, Etc Forget all the garbage, lets just be a band and keep our focus on the music.
