Brelie Gear Company in Waukesha is looking to hire a skilled CNC Machine Operator/Set Up person to operate and maintain our CNC equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up the machine, adjusting the machine tools as needed, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. This is a 1st shift, Monday thru Friday position. To ensure success as a CNC Machine Operator, you should have experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised. CNC Machine Operator/Set Up Responsibilities: • Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models. • Loading raw materials into the CNC machine. • Loading the correct cutting tools for the job. • Setting up the machine. • Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications. • Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process. • Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product. • Cleaning and maintaining the machine and your area. CNC Machine Operator/Set Up Requirements: • High school diploma or GED. • Previous work experience as a CNC Machine Operator/Set Up with basic G&M code knowledge. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline. • Ability to stand for extended periods. • Ability to lift heavy objects. • Strong math skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with others. Previous experience is greatly preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. Technical school students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
