Job Description Tucson Asphalt is searching for an experienced Asphalt Raker/Laborer to join our well-established, growing company. An Asphalt Raker/Laborer is a skilled craft position that assists with applying asphalt on highways, roadways, parking lots, and drives using handheld tools. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable, growing company that allows you to stay close to family and be home every night. Some of the Duties & Responsibilities  Must work quickly, productively, and safely to meet production goals as outlined by the Foreman & Superintendent.  Must be an advocate of safety and follow safety policies and procedures.  Actively participate in job-site and safety meetings and all Company related training.  May set up and tear down equipment.  Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools, and equipment, and secure the job site each day.  Understand material handling and storage in compliance with SDS sheets.  Use equipment and/or an assortment of hand tools such as rakes, shovels, wheel barrels, etc.  Perform all other general laborer work as needed.
