We are needing to find a good home for our 3 year old female Anatolian Shepherd. Must be a good fit as she is a temperamental dog. Pros: Great with chickens (never killed one of our chickens) Great guardian! She will kill every opossum and coon or other predator that comes on your property Gets along fine with cats and other small farm animals if she is introduced and understands they are part of the family Not a big wanderer like some Guardian dogs, but best to be in a fence Has experience with goats Cons: She gets very jealous of other dogs and will viciously fight with other dogs. If the dog can't hold it's own, that could be fatal. She is a horrible mother and must be spayed. She killed 2 of her pups last year. If she has a lot of attention, she will be a good dog for someone. Would be best if the owner did not have other dogs. Free to a good home with the agreement that new owner pays for getting her spayed.
