Description
Our family sadly must re-home our 7 month old male rough Collie, Bear. Bear is a full blooded rough collie however we do not have papers or registration on him. He’s not neutered yet but he is up to date on vaccinations. The re-homing has everything to do with our family situation at this time and not with Bear. We have 2 young children and another dog, both of who he does very well with. He is a puppy and he is very playful with our older German Shepherd. Bear knows basic commands such as sit, lay down and stay and learns very quickly. Bear has been crate trained but also sleeps most nights with my teenager. Bear is house trained with the exception of some puppy accidents here and there.
Due to our current work schedules a majority of Bear’s care falls on our teenage daughter. Unfortunately, Bear isn’t getting the attention he needs in this current set up. Bear is, as all collies are, high energy and requires physical and mental stimulation. Bear needs room to get his energy out and would not do well in an apartment setting.
There is a rehoming fee to ensure Bear goes to a good family that will give him everything he needs.
