Lane County Veteran Stand Down is in need of volunteer barbers for its community veterans outreach program this Friday (Sept 30th) at the Lane County Fair Grounds. The veteran stand down is an event where local county veterans in need can find local, county and federal services for assistance with housing, clothing, health/mental care. It is a one day event that is focused on bringing local veterans who need assistance under one roof where they can receive that assistance. Along with other services, the stand down usually offers free haircuts, but due to a last minute cancellation they are in need of volunteer barbers that can help cut veteran hair throughout the day. We have 3 barber chairs for use and would really love some assistance in filling up volunteer time slots. If you or your company is interested in volunteering your time to help out please contact Floyd Bard at
or reply to this ad via email.
