I have a one year old sun conure who needs to be rehomed. She is such a sweet and loving bird but requires a lot more attention and training then we can give her. We have too much going on in our lives right now unfortunately. We were good at the time we bought her and sadly have had family members that we are helping take care of and some family who have passed :( its been rough and not fair to Mango. She would come with her perch, food, toys, and cage. She loves kids and is a great family bird. We are a family of 6. We love her very much and are not in a rush to get rid of her. We perfer serious and experienced bird lovers. She loves to be out of her cage, I am a stay at home mother so she gets to be out almost all day. We have her on a schedule. She is currently out of her cage by 7am and eats breakfask, goes in her cage for lunch and nap for a couple hours then she is back out till around dinner time and she's in her cage the rest of the night. Yes if no one else is home she does go in her cage if I need to leave to the store but she is back out as soon as I'm home. I tried to train her on the hsrness but she chewed it up. Sge is still very eager to learn. Only con is she can be very loud but if your looking at getting a sun conure you should already know that. Please do your homework before owning any bird.
