CONST 143- Solar Photovoltaics Systems. Class starts October 13th! This class is partially online, with In person“Hands on” lab time Wednesday nights starting Wednesday October 19th. The Cosumnes River College Solar Installers Certificate is an industry driven program taught by recognized experts, and is intended to help students quickly learn the essentials to gain employment in the high demand solar industry; and also work toward higher level national certification with NABCEP. Financial assistance is readily available, and women are strongly encouraged to apply. “Hands On” topics include: • OSHA 10 hour Safety Certification • Roof mounting systems and fall protection safety • Solar PV components and system sizing • Classes culminate with a roof top install on a real house
