Interior Green International is looking for dependable staff to care for Interior Tropical Plants on a weekly basis in offices, buildings, hospitals and hotels. Experience is a plus working with interior tropical plants. Four-days a week inside work, and benefits. Responsibilities include: • Watering and fertilizing all plants as necessary • Keeping all plants cleaned, trimmed and oriented to proper light • Removing any damaged or unsightly foliage • Removing debris from planters and maintaining planters in a neat and orderly manner • Preventing damage to surrounding floors, walls and furniture from water and/or moisture • Keeping all plants free from disease and insects • Maintaining staging and top dressing for proper presentation • Must have a reliable personal vehicle available each workday for transportation to the accounts • Daily call-in at the start and completion of the workday • Proper documentation of work orders, service records and route cards • Timely requests for replacement plants and full knowledge of replacement budgets • Timely communication to supervisor regarding account problems or concerns • Proper maintenance and safe use of company tools, equipment and vehicles Skill requirements: • Must have a valid Driver’s License • 1+ year of horticultural service experience or equivalent • Proficient in both oral and written communications • Able to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner Benefits: • Paid holidays • Paid vacation & sick days after first year • Discounts on plants • Flexible work hours This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, Monday-Thursday up to 40 hours a week.
