OPINIONS WANTED and PAID FOR– Jury Research Project Now Accepting Applicants (IN-PERSON ONLY) Instructions: You will be asked to sit as a juror on a legal case. As the case is presented to you, you will give your opinion about the facts or the law. You do not need any legal training, and if you have any, it will probably not be helpful. Judges, lawyers and others often want to know something about how jurors think, feel or see different issues. Our job to get this information from you, and then inform them what you’ve said. Most people that have participated in a jury focus group have enjoyed the experience. We hope you do too. COMPENSATION: $75 for 2 hours OPINIONS WANTED: We will be holding a Jury Research Project in the months of October and November 2022 IN PERSON ONLY.* The pay is $75 for a 2-hour project session. Payment will be made day of the project by check after the two hour meeting. We want a diverse group, so we’re asking for all backgrounds to apply. We will contact participants with additional details if chosen. *Sessions are subject to change from in-person to Zoom with proper notice. REQUIREMENTS: To receive compensation, Participants must participate for the entire two (2) hour in person meeting, leaving the meeting early for any reason will result in non-payment.
