Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.50 (Non CDL) - $18.50 (With CDL) per hour Average Weekly Pay – $1,093 / $1,156 (Non CDL – With CDL). No guarantee of hours, but generally work more than 50 hours per week. Full Time Openings for Laborers: Peek Pavement Marking is a Road Striping company, which has full time Construction Laborer positions available NOW in Richmond Hill, GA. The Richmond Hill, Ga office is located at 866 Longwood Dr, Richmond Hill, GA 31324 Job Description Position within your assigned crew will determine your actual job description: • Lift, carry, load and unload construction items including pavement marking supplies, signs, etc. • Prepare, clean and sweep work area. • Operates and maintains thermoplastic striping equipment for the application of striping on roadways. • Operates a Striper Truck at low speeds while roadways are receiving paint striping/thermoplastic striping applications. • Lie out and install heat tape. Apply and remove temporary and permanent reflective tape. • Set up and remove construction signs and traffic control items at job site. • Operates and maintains equipment, both hand operated and motorized designed to remove pavement markings from roadway surfaces. • Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job site. • Clean grinders and paint machines. • Install, remove and reset delineators, signs, posts and supports. • Shop work; which may include general maintenance and repair of equipment. • Perform other work related duties as assigned. • Travel from work site to work site (involves considerable overnight travel). • Will have to perform mechanical repairs on the equipment. • Other duties as assigned. ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Minimum Requirements: • 19 years of age. • Must have a valid driver’s license & a good driving record (no major violations such as DUI, Open Container, no more than 2 violations in three years and none 20+ over the speed limit. • Must be able to safely drive a commercial motor vehicle. • Must have an acceptable background. • Work schedules are variable and can include weekends.
