Being routine oriented and enjoying repetitive/systematic work is helpful. Living in Kailua or Kaneohe is preferred as the delivery area is Kailua and there are approximately 200 papers on the routes available. Having a partner or family member able to help will lead to quicker deliver times, the ability to deliver more papers for more $$ and to help out when you need to take time off. Reliable transportation, HDL, vehicle insurance and cell phone needed. Job Description Are you looking for an additional income source to help with rising costs, unforeseen bills, or travel/leisure plans? Are you a disciplined, self-starter looking for a side hustle? Can you handle working in early morning hours 6 days a week? The work isn’t glamorous or back breaking, and you don’t need to stand up for hours or deal with customers face to face. The delivery process can be learned with minimal training, and then you are your own boss. Deliveries occur between 12:30 to 5:30am on most day (except Sundays) and you can choose to start to end early or start later and then transition into your normal workday. The only variable is the actual time the newspaper is dropped off to the carrier pick up point at the Windward Mall as there are occasional pressroom and truck delays. Pay is determined by the number of papers you deliver and the consistent service you provide, not by the hours you spend delivering. This is where working in tandem with family or friends helps so you can work as fast and efficiently as possible to complete your routes, and be done for the day. The work is repetitive and gets easier with time just like any other skill or routine gets better with practice. It is not rocket science, but it does take commitment and it’s a great fit for night owls, hustlers, and independent persons who prefer behind the scenes work. You will make extra money, without inventory, a boss over your shoulder, looking for customers or needing to spend money to make money. If this is something that you would like to explore, please respond with your contact information, what your daily routine looks like and the neighborhood you live in. Thank you for your time, we look forward connecting with you.
