We are a well-established boat tour company of over 20+ years based on the island of Kauai in the Hawaiian Islands. We are looking for a Marine Maintenance Mechanic to join our team as we grow our operation. Qualifying candidates will be responsible in making sure our fleet is ready to go out on the water every day in tip-top shape. As part of our Operations team you will help with all aspects of our company including but not limited to general boat maintenance, truck/trailer upkeep, inventory and other projects/duties as they arise. Preferred ideal qualifying candidate experience and skills in: • Marine Diesel Mechanics • Outboard motors • Preventive Vessel Maintenance • Electrical • Fiberglass Fabrication/Repairs • Sailboat Rigging • Evaluating improvements to the vessel and operations • Help with annual drydocks Training will be provided This position requires: • A hard worker • Good verbal and written communication skills • Ability to follow directions, read schematics and problem solve • Attention to details and dedication to a high level of excellence • Come in at late notice to address a mechanical issue • Three good references from prior employers in relative fields of work What we offer: Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Drug and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off 401K
