30 Hour OSHA Construction Training OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training This training program is a comprehensive review of OSHA procedures, policies, and standards. This course will give students a strong understanding of construction safety and health principles as well as place an emphasis on the most hazardous areas using OSHA standards and regulations as a guideline. (Free study guides and handbook will be given) Although OSHA 30-hour training was originally more appropriate for supervisors, the induction of local law 196 has made this class a popular selection for most construction workers. Students will learn to locate and identify OSHA standards in 29 CFR, identify causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas within the worksite while providing abatement technique suggestions for these hazards, and learn to understand most construction processes, materials, and equipment. CEU Requirements 1. 100% attendance for the OSHA 30 Certification 2. Completion of Continuing Education and Training Registration Form 3. Active participation in all class exercises (determined by course instructor) 4. Completion of required pre-and post-quiz assessment 5. As applicable, achievement of minimum passing score on required end-of-course examination 6.
